About SWS
On March 11 in 2011, The largest earthquake in Japanese history hit the northeastern region of Japan.
We have more than 20,000 victims including death and almost half of them are still missing.
This massive disaster not only damaged people by Tsunami but also severely damaged nuclear power plant in Fukushima which contaminated radiation.
As of today, there is no way out to solve this secondary disaster, and our lives are threaten by fears of radioactivity.
90,000 people are still living in shelters hoping to have their lives back to normal again. However, their fears, stress, and sorrows of losing loved ones can't be estimated.
We need to help those victims mentally and financially.
First, I was not sure what should I do to help them.
What can I do as a musician…?
It took me a while to come out with this simple answer:
"I want to encourage them through music."
I thought this is the only thing I could do for them.
But this answer couldn't be accomplished by myself.
I asked other musicians for support and we created a charity song called:
『The Sun will Shine』
We want everyone who is suffering from the disaster to listen to this song.
Please spread a word to help victims.
Your contribution might be small, it means a lot to them.
We truly hope that tomorrow will be better than today.
